Butterfly Decorative Hanger

Materials:
ZIP DRY PAPER GLUE
• Small wood butterfly with peg hanger, about 4” or larger
• Jacquard Lumiere paint, Pearlescent Magenta 573, or other pearlescent paint of choice
• Pink & white quilting paper; slotted tool
• Clear flat back beads
• Medium rhinestones
• ½” flat craft brush, scissors, ruler

| Instructions: |

Paint all sides & back of the butterfly with pearlescent paint. Let dry & apply a second coat if desired. |

Cut 4” lengths of pink quilting paper. Make 9 teardrops, 2 hearts, 2 scrolls with the slotted tool. |

Cut 3” lengths of white quilting paper to make 8 teardrops, 4 loose circles with the slotted tool. |

Hold ends of quilting paper with a little bit of Zip Dry when forming shapes. |

Glue all the formed shapes, rhinestones and beads to the butterfly, starting with one pink teardrop and two white teardrops to the top the head. Glue a rhinestone below the white teardrops. |

Using the photo as a guide, glue the quilled shapes and rhinestones in place until the butterfly is complete. Fill in flat backed beads wherever necessary. Allow everything to dry before hanging. Can be used to hang jewelry or, if you’d rather, keys. |
