Flower Power Pot
Level: Easy

• Paper mâché 4” flower pot, or of your choice
• Medium daisy paper punch
• Yellow vellum and cardstock
• Blue/purple plaid decorative paper
• Yellow dimensional paper paint
• Medium blue acrylic paint
• Shredded green paper
• Styrofoam block, 1” thick
• Yellow pearls
• Stemmed silk flower with leaves
• Decorative scissors, paper crimper, paper cutter or scissors, ruler, 1⁄2” wide craft brush, craft knife

Instructions:
1.	Paint paper mâché flower pot with blue acrylic paint and let dry.
2.	Add dots of yellow dimensional paint randomly on pot sides.
3.	Cut a 1 ¾” strip of plaid paper long enough to fit around the pots rim plus and extra ½” for overlap. Trim edges using decorative scissors. Run paper strips through the paper crimper. Save the small cut strips.
4.	Glue strip around rim with ZIP DRY. Glue the saved small pieces to the bottom edge of the pot as in photo.’
5.	Punch out six daisies from the yellow cardstock and six from the yellow vellum. Glue vellum daisies onto centers of cardstock daisies and glue finished flowers onto pot rim.
6.	Glue yellow pearls to flower centers.
7.	Use the craft knife to cut two circles from the Styrofoam to fit inside the pot and glue in place.
8.	Glue shredded paper onto Styrofoam and push silk flower stem into the center of the foam.
