| Instructions: |
| 1. |
Cut two ½” X 12” and one 3” X 12” strips from the dark pink craft foam with the straight edge and craft knife or rotary cutter. Cut 1” X 12” and one 3 ½” X 12” strips from light pink foam. (You may draw lines and cut strips with scissors.) Use scissors to cut 3” deep fringe along 12” side on larger light pink foam strip. |
| 2. |
Apply CRAFTFOAM GLUE to one side of each strip following bottle instructions. After glue has dried, place fringe strip across the base of the dark pink banner, overlapping ¾”. Refer to photo for placement. |
| 3. |
Place 1” light pink strip approximately 12” up from fringe strip and position one ½” dark pink strip on top of fringe strip and center the other on the 1” pink strip. Fold top edge of banner around dowel to the back. Glue 3” dark pink strip across folded piece of foam and back of banner, securing dowel pocket in place. Tie ribbon to ends of the dowel with double knots. |
| 4. |
Trace crown pattern and cut from light pink foam with long, even strokes, turning the foam rather than the scissors. Trace PRINCESS PALACE or desired lettering onto light pink foam by turning the alphabet stencils to wrong side for tracing. (By tracing letters in reverse, all pen marks will be on the wrong side of the foam) Cut out letters. |
| 5. |
Place letters on scrap paper and apply KIDS CHOICE GLUE to all the letters and immediately sprinkle with glitter. Allow glue to dry then tap off excess glitter onto scrap paper. |
| 6. |
Apply CRAFTFOAM GLUE to the backs of all letters and to the crown. When glue has dried, press crown onto the crown onto the banner’s center about 2 ½” down from the top light pink strip. Press letters starting from the center out to each side, curving PRINCESS around the top of the crown. |
| 7. |
Use black marker to outline crown with wiggly lines and dash marks. |
| 8. |
Apply rhinestones as in the photo with CraftFoam Glue applied with dots of glue to the stone backs with a toothpick. |
