| Instructions: |
| 1. |
Cut around two of the flower repeats, leaving ¼” to ½” edge around the actual flower. DO NOT CUT THE FLOWER OUT BEYOND THIS POINT. |
| 2. |
Using LIQUID LAMINATE, decoupage the two fabric flowers onto the water color paper and allow to dry. |
| 3. |
Paint the box lid, bottom, and inside with the matching paint and let dry |
| 4. |
Place the lid on the box and draw a line around the edge of the box where the end of the lid covers the bottom of the box. When applying the tissue paper to the box, do not go above this line. This is so the lid will fit securely on the box without damaging the tissue paper. |
| 5. |
Pour some LIQUID LAMINATE onto a paper plate. Tear the tissue paper into one to two inch pieces, dip into the laminate, and apply to the box, smoothing out any air bubbles as you proceed. Let dry and repeat twice more until all sides have 3 layers of laminated paper. Dry thoroughly between applications. |
| 6. |
Following the manufacturer’s directions, apply the fine crackle finish and brown antiquing gel to the lid top and bottom of the box. Allow to dry. Seal with a coat of LIQUID LAMINATE. |
| 7. |
Cut out the flower is that is not decoupaged and attach it to the top of the box with the LIQUID LAMINATE. |
| 8. |
Cut out the petals and leaves from the fabric that has been deocupaged onto the water color paper. Using GLASS, METAL & MORE, attach the prepared dimensional flowers onto the non-dimensional flower already on the lid. Slightly bend flowers to provide more dimension. |
| 9. |
Glue seed beads to the center of the flowers and add any other embellishments with GLASS, METAL & MORE. |
