is a UV-curable adhesive designed for laminating films such as PVC,
polycarbonate or Mylar and can also be used for paper stocks. It can be applied
from a standard flexo or letter press print station using photopolymer plates,
flat or rotary screen or with a roller coater, slot head or a meyer rod. The
cured properties are optimized when the adhesive is applied and the substrate is
then immediately laminated.
Versions
-
is
particularly suited for applications where optical clarity is
mandatory. Best results are achieved when Magna-Cryl 2804 is cured
though one of the clear substrates. It flows out evenly and cures to a
strong permanent bond. It may be applied with a roller
coater, meyer rod, slot head or by flat screen printing equipment.
Recommended mesh count ranges from 90 to 120 mesh. We recommend curing
the Magna-Cryl 2804 with a minimum of one 300 watt UV lamp.
- Magna-Cryl
2851 is
particularly suited for applications where two opaque substrates
requires lamination. It can be cured first before the substrates are
laminated. It flows out evenly and cures to a strong permanent bond.
It may be applied with flexo
or letter press print station or by a rotary screen printing equipment.
Recommended mesh count ranges from 90 to 110 mesh. Recommended anilox
count is 55 to 200 line. We recommend curing the Magna-Cryl 2804 with
a minimum of one 300 watt UV lamp.
