Fabulous Fashion Necklaces

Create a one-of-a-kind necklace from large wooden beads & paper to match any outfit. These necklaces make appreciated gifts for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions.
Materials:
ZIP DRY PAPER GLUE
LIQUID LAMINATE
• Decopatch tissue paper from Exoclair, 1-800. 933-8595
• Large wooden beads, Indus Trading Company, 1-877-7INDUS7 or 1-503-681-8105, www.buildurbeads.com
• Coordinating scrapbook papers
• Rat tail cord, black or color of your choice
• Bead spacers, metallic or plastic.
• Wooden skewer, brush, small plastic bowl, piece of Styrofoam, baby wipes

| Instructions: |

Stick wooden bead on a skewer and push other end of skewer into piece of Styrofoam. |
| 2. |
Tear Decopatch tissue paper into very small strips no longer than ¼” wide by 1” long. |

Pour a small amount of LIQUID LAMINATE in the bowl. |
| 4. |
Working on one section of the bead at a time, brush surface with LIQUID LAMINATE. Place a strip of tissue over wet surface, smoothing down with your hands. Repeat until the entire bead is covered, paying attention to make sure that the tissue paper covers up to the hole. |

Remove the skewer from the foam and dip the entire bead into the LIQUID LAMINATE. Place skewer back on foam and allow to completely dry. Use baby wipes for your hands as needed. |

Cut narrow strips of coordinating scrapbook paper. Roll a piece around a pencil and glue ends with ZIP DRY PAPER GLUE. Allow to dry. Dip “bead” into LIQUID LAMINATE and let completely dry. |

String wooden bead, paper beads, & spacers onto rat tail cord. |
