| HELPFUL HINTS | |||
| • | ALWAYS cover work surfaces with newspaper or plastic & avoid using furniture as a work area to prevent damage. | ||
| • | To minimize stringing, apply a small amount of Vaseline to applicator tip when using. | ||
| • | Replace cap to prevent evaporation. If red cap is lost, cover bottle opening with a bit of aluminum foil and replace screw top. | ||
| • | If glue thickens, thin with a few drops of acetone. | ||
| • | Prewash fabrics to remove sizing which can prevent glue absorption into fibers. Metallic threaded fabrics may require an additional washing. | ||
| • | Not suitable for applying patches. Try BEACON’S PATCH ATTACH instead. Don’t use on Velcro, denier nylon, or very sheer or delicate fabrics as glue may soak through. | ||
| • | Dry clean to remove glue from garments. If a lot of glue was applied, an additional dry cleaning may be necessary, or ask dry cleaner to “spot clean” area. | ||
| • | Flammable only when wet and should not be used near open flame. Don’t smoke when using this product. Use with proper ventilation as some individuals may be sensitive to the slight odor. | ||
| • | Not suitable for children’s projects. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. | ||
